Brake repair on I-80

When Airstream trips average thousands of miles, things can happen despite the best preventive maintenance and care.
The main spring broke in one of our brakes (right front) while traveling on I-80 West across Iowa. We evaluated and decided we could continue driving about 60 more miles to the Airstream dealership, RVOne, in Altoona, Iowa.
The fine folk there agreed to see us right away and within a few hours we were back on the road. A big shout out to Mike, the service advisor and Dennis, the technician for the speedy and excellent care.
All is well, the journey continues.
