Sunrise in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Our first trip in the spring of 2015 was a weekend getaway to Anchor Down RV Resort in Dandridge, TN. It was a beautiful, but cold, opening weekend at the park so the number of campers was low. We were there with one other camper on the other side of the resort. It was a great way to start off the new year.

Different perspective

When we were leaving, we told them we'd be back in the fall to close out the year. Last weekend we returned and once again the place was almost empty. They told us it had been a great season. As one of the most beautiful and well maintained RV parks anywhere, we're happy for them and wish them continued success. Being alone on the water front with spectacular views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the only users on the resort Wi-Fi makes us happy as well.
